As a kid I spent a LOT of time in the dental chair. I still get the shivers when I think about those visits to “The Chair". The buzzing drill and plume of smoke.
I never understood why a place that fixed people’s smiles could feel so sterile. And serious.
So, when I got started in dentistry 15 years ago, first as a dental assistant, then as a front desk employee, I envisioned an entirely different experience. One where patients felt listened to, understood—physically and emotionally.
Did I succeed? My patients certainly think so. And it’s not just because we’ve replaced that lonely ficus plant with a lovely waterfall. Come see for yourself!
